Manchester United's recent struggles have sparked debate about the team's future under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. Former Crystal Palace chairman Simon Jordan has expressed his doubts about the Norwegian manager's ability to lead the team back to Premier League greatness.
Speaking to TalkSPORT, Jordan stated, “Because it’s Manchester United, we’ve watched all of their games because there is more focus on Manchester United.” He added, “But if you look at the manner in which Man United are playing, I’m sorry because I know Man United fans will start yelling and screaming, but up to 60 minutes against Chelsea they were getting bossed.”
Jordan's comments come after Manchester United suffered a 2-1 defeat to Crystal Palace at Old Trafford, with Jordan Ayew and Patrick van Aanholt scoring in the last minute to seal the win. The loss marked United's first defeat of the season and raised questions about the team's performance under Solskjaer.
Jordan's criticism of Solskjaer is not the first, as the team's recent form has sparked debate about the manager's ability to lead the team back to Premier League greatness. Solskjaer has been in charge of Manchester United since March 2019, but the team's performance has been inconsistent, with some victories and several defeats.
