While milk is a rich source of essential nutrients like calcium, phosphorus, protein, and vitamin D, consuming it in excess can have unintended consequences.

According to a study published in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition in 2015, diets high in calcium, such as those that include large amounts of milk, may increase the risk of prostate cancer.

Another study, published in the BMJ in 2012, found a link between excessive milk consumption and an increased risk of bone fractures. The researchers analyzed data from 61,433 women and 45,339 men and discovered that those who consumed more than three glasses of milk per day had a higher chance of experiencing fractures, including hip fractures.

Furthermore, the study found that men who drank excessive amounts of milk were at a higher risk of death, with cardiovascular diseases being a contributing factor.

Additionally, milk consumption has been linked to skin conditions such as acne and eczema. A study published in ScienceDirect in 2016 found a correlation between dairy consumption and acne in teenagers, specifically those who consumed low-fat milk.

It's essential to note that milk is not inherently bad, and moderate consumption is still beneficial. However, it's crucial to be mindful of the amounts we consume to avoid potential health issues.
