Posta Rangers have confirmed the return of Sammy "Pamzo" Omollo as their head coach, effective immediately.

Omollo's appointment comes after a two-year absence from the club, during which he served as an assistant coach at Kenya Commercial Bank (KCB). He was sacked alongside head coach Frank Ouna at the end of the 2018/19 season.

"Pamzo has joined the team on a two-year contract and we are happy to have him back," Posta Rangers team manager John Terry told Nation Sport on August 26, 2019.

Omollo's familiarity with the club's operations is expected to aid his integration, and the team is optimistic that he will help improve their performance in the upcoming season.

Former Kenyan international Pascal Ochieng' will serve as Omollo's assistant coach.

The team is set to face National Super League (NSL) side Kenya Police FC in a preseason friendly match at the Strathmore University grounds on Saturday morning.
