Published on August 26, 2019, Kenya's national polo team made a triumphant return home after winning the Lusaka International Championships at Lubombo Polo Club in Zambia.
The team, comprising of Jadini Nzomo, Ben Stonewigg, Tom Stonewigg, and William Millar, defeated the United States of America 17-5 in their first match, followed by a 9-4.5 win against Zambia B.
Ben Stonewigg was voted as the Most Valuable Player of the tournament, while the Zambia A team finished runner-up behind Kenya.
Kenya's junior team, consisting of Jadini Nzomo, Ben Stonewigg, Tom Stonewigg, and William Millar, also made a remarkable comeback in their last match against Zambia A, winning 8-7 in a closely contested match.
Ben Stonewigg's assist to Jadini, who scored a screamer in the fourth chukka, proved to be the turning point in the match, securing a crucial win for the Kenyan team.
