On Sunday, police in Mombasa County arrested a man suspected of defiling five minors, all under eight years of age, at Ganahola in Jomvu.
According to a doctor's report, the children had been defiled, prompting the arrest of the suspect at his home.
It is alleged that the man lured the children with twenty shillings before taking advantage of them at his home in Ganahola and warning them not to speak to anyone.
The suspect is expected to be arraigned in court on Monday.
Speaking to Citizen Digital, Jomvu police boss James Mutua confirmed the arrest.
