Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has expressed confidence that the club can offload Alexis Sanchez before the European transfer window closes.

Inter Milan are reportedly keen on bringing Sanchez to Serie A to join former United team-mate Romelu Lukaku, who made the switch earlier this summer.

"There are still talks with some clubs," Solskjaer said.

Sanchez is currently working hard to prove himself, but Solskjaer has made it clear that he is unlikely to be a regular starter for the team.

Manchester United will still have to pay £13 million to ship out Sanchez, despite Inter Milan agreeing to pay half of his £500,000-a-week wages.

The deal is expected to be finalized this week, with United pushing for a non-negotiable clause to be added, which will see Inter sign Sanchez permanently for £20 million next year.

However, both clubs still need to come to an agreement on the £52 million conundrum of who will pay the final two years of Sanchez's United contract from 2020.
