On August 24, 2019, a census enumerator in Kenya made headlines for his creative approach to preparing for the census exercise. The enthusiastic enumerator was captured on video dancing with children in a lively display of joy and energy.

As seen in the video, the enumerator, who remains unidentified, was joined by four children who rhythmically jumped up and down while chanting 'Watu ya census.' The children's infectious energy was matched by the enumerator, who moved closer to continue the dance.

The video quickly went viral on Twitter, with many Kenyans expressing their admiration for the enumerator's creativity and enthusiasm. @DaviesKinanga tweeted, 'This guy apewe HSC,' while @KingKwemoi said, 'Huyu anaeza kua kindergarten teacher mzuri sana.'

Enumerators had already begun their work on Friday, conducting pre-listing ahead of the official start of the census exercise at 5pm.
