Kevin Bahati, a renowned gospel singer, and his wife Diana Marua recently welcomed their second child, Majesty, after a glamorous baby shower just days prior.
On their reality show, Bahati revealed that his wife had requested a baby shower costing a total of Sh1.1 million, but he strongly disagreed, stating that he wouldn't spend that much on an unplanned event.
He offered Sh800,000 instead, saying that baby showers don't affect a baby's appearance after birth.
“Kwani ni shamba unanunua. Hii ushago kwetu ni acre mbili. Sahii mahali iko hio haiwezekani…. Baby shower inasaidia mtoto kutoka akiwa msupuu ama mhandsome? Fanya hivi I’ll get 800K just work with that,” said Bahati.
Just weeks prior, the couple had held a lavish baby shower and gender reveal party at a city hotel, with close friends and family members in attendance.
