On August 22, 2019, Kenya's taekwondo team made history by winning two medals at the African Games in Rabat, Morocco. The team's achievement marked an improvement from the previous African Games in Congo Brazzaville four years ago, where they did not win a single medal.

Everlyn Aluoch won the silver medal in the 63-73kg category after losing to Egyptian Maisoun Tolba in the gold medal contest. Faith Wanjiru Ogallo, on the other hand, won the bronze medal in the over 73kg category by defeating Algerian Linda Azzeddine 13-4 points.

Kenya's beach volleyball team, consisting of Naomi Too and Gaudencia Makokha, also won a silver medal in the ongoing African Games. The team, however, lost to Egypt in straight sets.

Kenya's success at the African Games is a testament to the team's hard work and dedication. The country's athletes have been training tirelessly to improve their skills and represent Kenya on the international stage.
