Published on August 24, 2019, Simbas are gearing up to face Zambia in a crucial Victoria Cup match at the RFUEA ground, aiming to bounce back from their recent 30-29 loss against Zimbabwe.
Head coach Paul Odera has made seven changes to the team that lost to Zimbabwe, with five uncapped players set to make their debut in national colours. The team has an average age of 22 years, with a mix of young and experienced players.
Francis Mwita and Malcolm Onsando will start in the second row, while Samuel Asati, Brian Amaitsa, and Eliud Mulakoli also feature in the starting lineup. Ian Njenga, a debutant from Nondescripts, has been named on the bench.
