Every year, the Queen escapes the hustle and bustle of London to spend the summer months at Balmoral Castle, her summer retreat in Scotland. Published on August 23, 2019, it's a pilgrimage she makes over 500 miles away to relax with her family and enjoy the beautiful Scottish Highlands.

As the Queen's summer break approaches, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are set to join her at Balmoral Castle with their son, Archie. However, the Duchess of Sussex will have to leave her ripped jeans and wedges behind, as the Queen is said to 'hate' these items of clothing with a passion.

A royal source claimed that the Queen is not a fan of jeans, and Meghan will not be packing her trusty denim trousers for the visit. The source added that Meghan could well be wearing a few Scottish designers while at Balmoral and for church appearances with the Queen.

When Meghan and Harry visit the Queen's summer retreat, they will reportedly be given their own wing and will enjoy afternoon tea with the Queen. The Queen and Prince Philip adore the couple and their new great-grandson Archie, and they have invited them to Balmoral for a few days.

It's a huge honour for Meghan to be given this invite, and it's testament to her that she has been included in the Queen's summer plans. The Queen's trip to Balmoral is a special time for her to relax and enjoy the company of her family, and Meghan and Harry will be a welcome addition to the royal gathering.
