On August 23, 2019, Kenyan socialite Vera Sidika made headlines after attending Diamond Platinumz and Tanasha Donna's baby shower in a skimpy outfit.
Wearing a white bikini combined with a see-through fish net jumpsuit and sandals, Vera was the center of attention at the event, which was attended by a select few.
Many of the guests appeared distracted whenever their eyes caught a glimpse of Vera, who was accompanied by her Tanzanian boyfriend Jimmy Chansa.
Photos and videos of Vera's outfit soon went viral on social media, with many criticizing her choice of clothing.
When asked about her decision to attend the baby shower, Vera explained that she had known Tanasha for five years and considered her a sister.
"I have known Tanasha for about five years now and she is my Kenyan sister and when she said you have to come to my shower I said yes," Vera said.
Despite the controversy surrounding her outfit, Vera has maintained a cordial relationship with Diamond and has attended many of his events over the years.
