Kenyan football fans are set for an exciting encounter as Harambee Stars coach Francis Kimanzi has named a provisional squad for the friendly match against Uganda on September 8, 2019, at MISC Kasarani.
The squad features a mix of experienced players who took part in the Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt, including Zambia-based forward Jesse Were and Kakamega Homeboyz midfielder Moses Mudavadi.
Goalkeepers Patrick Matasi, John Oyemba, and Faruk Shikalo have been named, alongside defenders Joseph Okumu, Mike Kibwage, Joash Onyango, and Abud Omar.
The midfielders include Victor Wanyama, Francis Kahata, Boniface Muchiri, and Kenneth Muguna, while forwards Michael Olunga, Jesse Were, and John Avire have also been selected.
Coach Kimanzi has also named 10 players in a reserves list who could be called upon in case of injury to the called-up players.
