Google has expanded its Google Go services to all Android users worldwide, making its lightweight search engine available to a broader audience.
Initially designed for people with limited internet experience, Google Go was first released in 2017 and was only being offered to Android Go users in select countries.
According to Google, the app saves up to 40 percent of device data, making it an ideal choice for phones with limited storage and data or for people living in areas with poor internet connectivity.
Google Go features real-time translating, voice-activated searching, and the ability to have Google read text out loud, making it a valuable tool for those with limited internet access.
As Google notes, 'We know that people everywhere can sometimes struggle with spotty connections, phone storage, and reading or translating text.'
With its global rollout, Google Go aims to provide a more accessible and user-friendly search experience for Android users worldwide.
