On August 22, 2019, a new player in the Kenyan betting industry, EKABET, made its debut with a promise to promote responsible gambling.
With a fully licensed status from the Betting Control and Licensing Board (BCLB), EKABET has set its sights on becoming a major player in the Kenyan market.
According to EKABET's Chief Executive Officer, Evans Gicho, the firm is committed to encouraging responsible betting among its customers.
"We will embark on a countrywide consumer education to educate the youth on responsible betting. Sports betting is supposed to be fun, an addendum to the actual game," said Gicho.
EKABET's platform offers a wide variety of matches from top world leagues, including the English Premier League, Bundesliga, LaLiga, and Ligue 1, among others.
Users can access the platform online or through the short SMS code 29232.
One of the first users of the platform, Samuel Omondi, praised EKABET's user-friendly interface and round-the-clock customer service.
"The fact that EKABET comes with an immediate signup bonus upon registration is particularly appealing. It is also user-friendly, with round-the-clock customer service and feedback," revealed Omondi.
EKABET's CEO, Evans Gicho, also pledged to fully comply with the terms and conditions of the BCLB guidelines and obligations to the taxman.
"We also promise our customers the best odds, and prompt payouts," he concluded.
