ODM Opens Window for Kibra MP Seat Aspirants ¶
Following the sudden death of Kibra MP Ken Okoth, the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) has opened the window for aspirants to submit their applications for the vacant seat.
Aspirants are required to submit their applications through the party's official Twitter handle, with the deadline set for August 23, 2019.
Reggae musician DJ Kriss Darlin has taken the first step by submitting his application through the party's official Twitter handle, accompanied by a photo of himself at the ODM headquarters.
Okoth passed away on July 26, 2019, after a long battle with colon cancer, which he had been diagnosed with in March 2019. He had traveled to France for treatment and returned to Kenya in July 2019.
His death has left a void in the Kibra constituency, and the ODM has now opened the window for aspirants to submit their applications for the vacant seat.
Aspirants are required to submit their applications through the party's official Twitter handle, with the deadline set for August 23, 2019.
It remains to be seen who will emerge as the next MP for Kibra, but one thing is certain - the constituency will be watching closely as the process unfolds.
