Victor Wanyama, the 28-year-old Kenyan midfielder, is reportedly on the radar of Belgian outfit Club Brugge as he seeks an exit from Tottenham Hotspur.
According to sources in Belgium, Wanyama's £54,000-per-week wages could be the only stumbling block to landing the services of the Harambee Stars skipper.
Wanyama has two years remaining on his current deal with Spurs but is struggling for game time under Mauricio Pochettino, who has preferred teenager Oliver Skipp ahead of him.
The addition of Tanguy Ndombele in the summer, along with the presence of Moussa Sissoko, Harry Winks, and Eric Dier, has left Wanyama with limited opportunities in the middle of the pitch.
However, given Brugge's active transfer market this summer, they could offer Wanyama the much-needed escape route before the closure of the European transfer window in September.
