Published on August 21, 2019, Waihiga Mwaura and his wife Joyce Omondi have been a subject of interest for many, but their relationship remains largely private.
The couple met while working at Citizen TV, with Waihiga anchoring the sports segment and Joyce hosting the gospel show Rauka. Their paths crossed on a Sunday morning when Joyce was leaving the set and Waihiga was checking in for work.
Despite their tight-lipped policy, the couple granted an interview to Salon Magazine, giving a glimpse into their relationship and marriage. In the interview, they shared:

They also revealed that they decided to be private about their relationship from the beginning, with many people, including their colleagues, not knowing they were dating until they got married.
