Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has made a significant decision regarding the team's penalty taker, choosing Marcus Rashford over Paul Pogba.

The decision comes after Pogba missed a crucial penalty in the team's 1-1 draw with Wolves on Monday night.

Published on August 21, 2019, Solskjaer's decision was reportedly made in the dressing room at full time, with the manager telling his players that Rashford will take penalties from now on.

Despite Pogba's shaky penalty record, Solskjaer had previously stated that both Pogba and Rashford were designated takers, but it seems that Rashford has now been given the permanent role.

"It is up to them, there and then, to decide 'this is mine'," Solskjaer told Sky Sports, but it appears that the decision has been made for them.

"Sometimes, players feel that they are confident to score. Paul has scored so many penalties for us but today Patricio made a good save," Solskjaer said, but it seems that Rashford's confidence has won out.
