Published on August 21, 2019, Dr. Miguna Miguna, a Kenyan lawyer and vocal critic, has reignited a controversy surrounding Rachel Shebesh's vow to remain celibate until Raila Odinga is arrested.

Shebesh, the former Nairobi Women Representative, made the vow in 2017, citing Raila's alleged offenses during the presidential election.

However, two years on, Raila remains a key figure in government, and Shebesh's vow remains unfulfilled.

Dr. Miguna Miguna took to Twitter to question Shebesh's commitment to her vow, asking if she is still celibate given Raila's continued involvement in government affairs.

Shebesh's vow was made in response to Raila's alleged offenses during the 2017 presidential election, but with Raila still at large, Shebesh's vow remains a topic of discussion.
