On August 20, 2019, Dr. Pimple Popper, a dermatologist and TLC host, shared a new Instagram video where she removes a cluster of blackheads from a teenager's face.
Using her signature comedone extractor tool, Dr. Pimple Popper gently presses down on each of the blackheads, making the process easier and safer.
While common in adolescence, blackheads can be easily treated with a regular skincare regimen, including a face wash that contains salicylic acid, as recommended by dermatologist Ken Howe, MD.
Dr. Pimple Popper sells her own line of comedone extractors on her website, making it easier for viewers to try the tool at home.
