August 20, 2019, marked a turning point for one mother, who felt she had finally regained control over her life after having her first child two years prior.

However, her husband's desire for another baby has left her questioning her own feelings on the matter.

According to her post on Mumsnet, the couple's relationship has been strained, with the husband doing most of the childcare and household chores.

She described her husband as 'massively hands-on' and stated that he lets her get away with being 'very lazy.'

Despite his efforts, the couple's schedules are often misaligned, and they rarely spend quality time together.

She revealed that she spends most evenings alone and has lost touch with her pre-baby social life.

Work has provided a much-needed respite for her, and she has found herself enjoying the social aspect and male attention.

However, her husband wants another baby, citing the fact that they seldom have sex and his premature ejaculation as additional issues between them.

After a recent incident of unprotected sex, she 'panicked' and bought the morning after pill without telling him, as she knew he would not understand.

Her decision was met with support from other women on the forum, who agreed that she was not in the best place to have another baby.

One user wrote, 'You made a wise decision there. So many people I know IRL whose marriages are in trouble, yet they think it's a great idea to have a second child.'

However, she was also advised to be more honest with her husband and discuss their issues before making any further decisions.
