Manchester United's hopes of building on their win over Chelsea were dented after Wolves forced them to a frustrating 1-1 draw at Molineux Stadium on August 19, 2019.
United's dominance saw them open the scoring through Anthony Martial after a brilliant build-up involving Jesse Lingard and Marcus Rashford.
However, Wolves settled in after the introduction of Adama Traore at the interval, with Raul Jimenez hitting the post before Ruben Neves scored a wonderful goal from 22 yards out to equalise.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's charges had a glorious chance to win it after Paul Pogba was fouled by Conor Coady in the dangerous area, but the Frenchman had his spot-kick excellently saved by Wolves goalkeeper Rui Patricio.
Luke Shaw nearly won it for United at stoppage time after being set up by Pogba, but the England defender fluffed the chance, shooting low and hard but straight at the goalkeeper.
