Biwar Abdullah, a 25-year-old Iraqi man, has been making waves on social media due to his uncanny resemblance to Cristiano Ronaldo.

According to reports, Biwar left Iraq in May this year and is currently living in Derby, United Kingdom, where he was spotted by a local shop owner, Shane Douglas, who noticed the striking similarity.

Biwar, who is often keeping up with the trends, has been changing his hairstyle to suit Ronaldo's and buying similar clothes and football kits to match the Portuguese star's.

Speaking to UK Sun, Biwar explained, "I am Kurdish, from northern Iraq, when I am at home I get a lot of attention, people stop me in the street and they ask for pictures, I don’t mind it, I always stop for people."

He added, "Most think I am Ronaldo straight away, it’s a nice feeling, I wish I had half the skill he does. I do play football, I play in the same position as him and I wear the number seven shirt - just as he does. My dream is to one day meet him."

Published on August 19, 2019, this story highlights the fascinating story of Biwar Abdullah, who has become an overnight sensation due to his striking resemblance to the football legend.
