On Monday morning, a heated argument between two Citizen radio presenters, Dennis Mwambili and Melody Sinzore, left listeners stunned. The disagreement, which was captured on video, has gone viral on social media, with many questioning the authenticity of the argument.

According to eyewitnesses, the argument started when Mwambili, alias Inspekta Mwala, tried to forcefully kiss Sinzore, who was not happy with the way he referred to her as his wife on air. The situation took a dramatic turn when Head of Radio at Citizen TV, Jeridah Andayi, intervened, but ended up receiving the forced kiss meant for Sinzore.

Andayi warned Mwala against calling Sinzore his wife, saying it might reduce her chances of getting married. The incident has sparked debate about the credibility of the argument, with many speculating that it was staged to attract listeners.

Radio Citizen has not issued an official statement about the incident, but Andayi's tweet may be related to the argument. The incident is not the first of its kind, with several radio presenters having disagreements on air in the past. However, the authenticity of these arguments has often been questioned.

Earlier this year, Milele FM presenters Kaka Zema and Doreen Tangut Nassi, popularly known as Dee, went for each other live on air. They both received warning letters, but the station later said it was a stunt to prepare listeners for a reshuffle of presenters at the Mediamax Network-owned radio station.

Capital FM listeners were also treated to a drama-filled morning show one Friday last month after presenters Amina Abdi Rabar and Fareed Khimani quarreled over their pay packages. A while back, Hot 96 presenter Jeff Koinange disagreed with co-host Jalang'o on air, with Jalang'o warning Jeff not to call him stupid again.
