Published on August 19, 2019, Arsenal talisman Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has expressed confidence in the team's ability to challenge for the Premier League title this season.
Aubameyang, who has emerged as a match winner in the team's first two games, believes the club's new signings will help them compete with the big guns in the league.
"I think as I said earlier we have made good signings, that will help us," Aubameyang said, referencing the club's summer transfer window.
However, the Gabonese forward was quick to admit that the club's main goal is to qualify for the Champions League after missing out on a slot last season.
"Whatever happens, that is the most important thing, the most important aim for us. To be back in the Champions League," he said.
Arsenal now face a tricky trip to Anfield, where they will battle Liverpool who are also enjoying a perfect form.
