Kenya's table tennis team is gearing up to face stiff competition at the African Games in Rabat, Morocco, which kicked off on August 19, 2019. The team, consisting of 10 players, will compete in singles, doubles, and mixed doubles categories.

According to head coach Fahd Dim, the team has been training for four months and is ready to perform better than their previous achievement in Congo four years ago. Dim expressed confidence in the team's ability to bring home medals.

However, Dim acknowledged the tough competition from top teams like Nigeria and Egypt, stating that a favorable draw would be crucial in advancing past the last four.

The African Games, which will be officially opened by King Mohammed VI on August 19, 2019, will feature 37 countries competing in 26 different disciplines. Kenya has entered teams in 22 disciplines, including judo, beach volleyball, chess, swimming, and boxing.
