On August 19, 2019, 254 Entertainment launched the Punguza Youth Sensitisation Initiative and Advocacy Campaign to address irresponsible sexual behavior among young people.
The brainchild of DNG, the Punguza Initiative seeks to educate youth on the importance of responsible sexual behavior.
"We intend to do this by providing an engagement platform for the youth to be able to open up, share their feelings and talk about sex," DNG said. "By doing so, we will trigger their interest and sensitise them on the risks involved and thus champion responsible sexual behaviour," he added.
According to DNG, the initiative has been designed to appeal to the intellect, habits, and lifestyle of the youth, making it a more effective approach to addressing the issue.
The Punguza Initiative has been ideated, driven, and steered by youth, for youth, and will involve the youth in sharing their experiences and giving advice to their peers.
