Published on August 19, 2019, a scenario where Raila Amollo Odinga is not on the ballot paper in 2022 is a terrifying prospect, according to Salim Lone, his former spokesman and political advisor.
Salim Lone has been praying that Raila Odinga will contest for the presidency in 2022, citing the alternative scenario as too terrifying to contemplate.
Responding to an article published by the Sunday Nation, Salim Lone wrote on his Twitter handle, 'I pray, devoutly, that this is true! The alternative scenario we have staring at has been terrifying.'
The Sunday Nation had reported that Raila Odinga's game plan for 2022 was the main reason for working closely with President Uhuru Kenyatta, a claim that ODM dismissed as reckless and irresponsible reporting.
Raila Odinga's 2022 secret weapon has kept both Jubilee and NASA guessing for far too long, with Wiper Executive Director stating that as a party, they are aware that Raila has something up his sleeve, but even their party leader believes that they had a pact which they deposited with the Registrar of Political Parties.
