Published on August 19, 2019, Tanzanian bongo star Ali Kiba emphasized the importance of living with respect over seeking fame.

He expressed his views in a recent interview with Burundi-based media outlet 'Fanny', stating that many artists fake their lifestyles to gain popularity, causing scandals and seeking attention.

Ali Kiba believes that this approach captures the hearts of many, while artists who keep it real are often overlooked.

However, he prioritizes leaving behind a positive legacy and being genuine in his life, saying, 'Ni vizuri nife, ni bora nife nikiwa naheshimika kuliko kufa halafu watu wataniongelelea vibaya, wamekushusha dhamani. Ukiwa mkweli kidogo ni kama hawapendi, ama hawawezi kufuatilia, mpaka uadanganye, lakini kiukweli mimi napenda kuwa real, niongee vitu vyangu, nifanya mambo yangu ambayo yako very positive.'

He values being true to himself and his fans, rather than seeking fame at any cost.
