On August 18, 2019, Tanzanian actress Wema Sepetu was rushed to the hospital after experiencing a low blood pressure episode.
According to her Instagram post, Wema's blood pressure dropped significantly, prompting her to seek medical attention to ensure everything was okay.
Wema shared a photo from her hospital bed, where she wrote: "Not feeling so well today….Had an episode of low blood pressure ryt after the Startimes press as we were launching the new channel star Swahili coordinating with Da Mai as het show Nipe code will be airing every Sunday….I’m thankful naendelea vizuri….your prayers are needed….

Wema has since been discharged from the hospital and is recovering at home.
