John De Mathew, a renowned Kikuyu musician, met his untimely demise in a tragic road accident on Sunday night, August 18, 2019.
According to reports, his vehicle collided with the rear of a truck at Blue Post along Thika Road, resulting in fatal injuries.
De Mathew was pronounced dead on arrival at Thika Nursing Home, leaving behind a legacy of numerous hit songs and a memorable music video featuring Muranga woman representative Sabina Chege.
