Manchester United's Alexis Sanchez on the Brink of Inter Milan Switch ¶
Manchester United's Alexis Sanchez is on the verge of leaving Old Trafford after reportedly agreeing to join Inter Milan.
Sanchez, who joined Manchester United in 2018 in a swap deal involving Henrikh Mkhitaryan, has been in talks with Inter Milan for several days.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Sanchez has held discussions with Inter Milan within the past 24 hours and is expected to join the Serie A club in the coming days.
Sanchez, who has been earning a weekly salary of £400,000, has scored five goals in 18 appearances for Manchester United since joining the club.
However, Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been critical of Sanchez's performance, stating that he needs to improve his game to stay at the club.
Sanchez's agent is reportedly in talks with Manchester United to finalize the move, which is expected to be a loan deal lasting 12 months.
Inter Milan are also believed to be interested in signing Tottenham's Fernando Llorente, who could replace Sanchez at the club.
Manchester United and Inter Milan have a good relationship, having previously worked together to sign Romelu Lukaku.
It remains to be seen whether Manchester United will accept Inter Milan's offer for Sanchez, but the Chilean forward's future at the club appears uncertain.
Sanchez has been out of action since suffering an injury during the Copa America tournament and may miss Manchester United's upcoming match against Wolves.
