Manchester City's quest for a third consecutive Premier League title has hit a snag, with the team dropping points against Tottenham on August 17. The Citizens currently sit third on the log with four points.

Despite this setback, bookmakers are already tipping City and Liverpool to see off their rivals again this term. However, Pep Guardiola, Manchester City manager, is backing the trio of Manchester United, Arsenal, and Chelsea to challenge for the title.

Guardiola was quick to praise Chelsea's impressive performances against Manchester United and Liverpool, stating, "I am really impressed with Chelsea and how they have played against Manchester United and Liverpool." He also expressed his surprise at Frank Lampard's team, saying, "I was really surprised how well Frank Lampard's team played. And we saw the quality United have upfront and the new mood around the club. Arsenal have bought good players too, so they are all contenders,"

Guardiola's comments come as no surprise, given the strong performances of the three teams mentioned. Manchester United, Arsenal, and Chelsea have all shown promise in the early stages of the season, and it will be interesting to see how they fare in the coming weeks.
