Manchester United's Alexis Sanchez may be leaving the club after agreeing personal terms with Inter Milan, according to reports.

Sanchez, who joined Manchester United in a swap deal involving Henrikh Mkhitaryan in 2018, has reportedly reached an agreement with Inter Milan in the last 24 hours.

As per Gianluca Di Marzio, Sanchez is looking forward to completing the switch to the San Siro in the coming days.

Sanchez, who earns about £400,000-a-week, has netted five league goals during his 18 months stay at Manchester United.

Despite club boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's claims that Sanchez has a future at Old Trafford, it now appears the Norwegian tactician was eager to see him quit.

Sanchez's agent is expected to fly into the UK to table an offer from Inter Milan to Manchester United, reportedly an initial loan deal with a clause to buy after 12 months.

However, it is still not certain if Manchester United chiefs will welcome the offer, or whether Inter Milan will fully accept to pay Sanchez's salary during the loan period.
