Reuben Ndolo, Former Makadara MP, Arrested for Disturbance and Threats

On August 17, 2019, flying squad detectives raided Bustani Gardens along Oledume Road in Nairobi, leading to the arrest of Reuben Ndolo, a former Member of Parliament for Makadara constituency.

According to the Directorate of Criminal Investigation (DCI), Mr. Ndolo was arrested along with six other suspects for allegedly creating disturbance and threatening to kill.

The other suspects include Daniel Otieno Juma, George Otieno, Cyrus Nyamboga Gichana, Bernard Ochieng, Dick Otieno Ombaka, and Hassan Dima Wario.

They are currently being detained at an undisclosed police station and are expected to be charged in court on Monday.

DCI Kenya tweeted about the arrest, stating that seven people, including Mr. Ndolo, were arrested at Bustani Gardens along Oledume Road on allegations of creating disturbance and threatening to kill.
