On a sunny Saturday morning, Liz received an unexpected call from Brian, a man she thought she had left behind. He had a sob story, complete with evidence, and Liz was torn between her anger and sympathy.
As she sat on her balcony, digesting the story, she turned to her friend Fatma and said, 'What you need is a plan.' Fatma had been scammed by Brian for half a million shillings, and Liz was determined to help her get it back.
With the help of their friend Jo, they hatched a plan to lure Brian to a location where he could be arrested and charged with obtaining money under false pretences. Fatma was hesitant at first, fearing that Brian might think she was punishing him for their breakup, but Jo reassured her that it was the best way to get her money back.
As they made their plan, Fatma's burden seemed to lift, and she thanked Liz for her support. The two friends hugged, and Fatma left, determined to take back what was hers.
But just as they were about to put their plan into action, Brian called Liz again, this time with a sob story about his father's heart attack. Liz was torn between her sympathy for Brian and her knowledge of his con artist ways. She ignored his call and continued with the plan, knowing that she had to protect her friend.
