Kenya rugby star Frank Wanyama, who was recently sentenced to 15 years in jail for gang raping an upcoming singer, Kemunto, alongside co-accused Alex Olaba, has sent a heartfelt message to his Finnish girlfriend, Sonja Sirvio, on her birthday.
According to their social media accounts, Wanyama and Sonja were deeply in love, but their relationship has been put to the test as Wanyama faces a long jail term.
On July 17, Wanyama sent a birthday message to Sonja, which read:
"A HAPPY BORN DAY TO MY PERSON @SONJASIRVIO?.YOU’VE BROUGHT SO MUCH LIGHT AND JOY TO MY LIFE AND AS YOU CELEBRATE THIS SPECIAL DAY MAY IT BRING THE SAME KIND OF HAPPINESS AND LOVE. YOURS??"
The message was sent just days before Wanyama's sentencing on Friday, 16th at Milimani law courts.
