On August 16, 2019, FIFA imposed a lifetime ban on former Super Eagles coach Samson Siasia following a guilty verdict on bribery and match fixing allegations.
According to FIFA, Siasia was found guilty of receiving a bribe to manipulate match outcomes, and he was also fined CHF50,000.
