On Thursday, police in Migori County cracked down on a bar in Isebania town, Kuria West sub county, where 30 minors were found drinking.

According to Migori County Criminal Investigation Officer Njeru Nyaga, the minors were arrested while clubbing at Robi club.

The minors, aged between 13 and 17, were detained at Isebania police station.

Mr. Nyaga said the manager of the bar, Amos Murimi, and the bar DJ, Victor Ocharo, were also arrested and will face charges for allowing minors to use their facility.

The crackdown followed complaints from locals who had been spotting minors accessing the club.
