A clinical officer in Homa Bay County has been charged with defiling a 16-year-old girl.
According to the court, the accused, Michael Otieno Odhiambo, allegedly lured the girl into his house where he committed the offence on August 8, 2019.
The girl had visited the local health centre to seek medication, but instead, she was allegedly defiled by the officer.
Odhiambo denied the charge before Senior Resident Magistrate Tom Mark Olando and was released on a bond of Sh200,000 with a similar amount as surety.
The case will be heard on September 10, 2019.
