Banda Homes has rebranded for the third time since 2011, adopting the name Nyumbani Concepts amid ongoing allegations of misappropriating Sh1.5 billion in client deposits. The firm, previously known as Dinara Developers (2011), Lettas Developers (2013), and Banda Homes (2018), faces accusations of failing to deliver housing projects while using funds for land purchases and existing developments.

A whistleblower report linked the rebranding to efforts to evade accountability, citing repeated corporate name changes after reputational damage from unfulfilled contracts. The document noted that Andrew Kamau Muhiu is alleged to be the true owner, with Paul Nderitu registered as managing director.

Industry observers question the legitimacy of the new name, pointing to continued connections between Nyumbani Concepts and previous entities. The rebranding follows viral social media exposure of Banda Homes' financial practices, which have drawn comparisons to other collapsed real estate firms like Suraya and Gakuyo.
