On Monday, Cristiano Ronaldo returned to Spain to receive the prestigious MARCA Legend award, which has previously been given to Lionel Messi, Usain Bolt, and Muhammad Ali.

During the ceremony, Ronaldo confessed that he missed Madrid more than Manchester United, where he currently plays.

He ended his nine-year reign at Real Madrid last summer, after a disappointing exit from the 2018 World Cup.

Despite his success at Juventus, where he won the Serie A title and was named the most valuable player, Ronaldo still holds a special place in his heart for Real Madrid.

He spent nine years at the Santiago Bernabeu, and his family grew up there, making it an even harder decision to leave.

When asked by young children at the event if he missed Real or Manchester United more, Ronaldo replied, 'I miss both of them, but I spent more time at Real Madrid and my family grew up here, so I miss Real Madrid more.'

It's clear that Ronaldo still has a strong connection to the city of Madrid and the team that he spent so many years with.
