During an interview with Mzazi Willy M Tuva, Mwana FA declared Sauti Sol the best singers in East Africa, citing their music's widespread appeal across the region.
However, his assertion has been met with skepticism, particularly from Tanzanians who take their rap music seriously and may feel that Nyashinski, often referred to as the 'Drake of East African rap,' deserves the title of top rapper.
With his conscious lyrics and melodious packaging, Nyashinski has built a reputation as a talented artist who has captured the hearts of many in East Africa.
While opinions may vary, it is undeniable that both Sauti Sol and Nyashinski have made significant contributions to the region's music scene.
Still, I know very few artistes who would have a claim to the lofty titles Nyashinski and Sauto Sol have been given by Mwana FA.
