Harun Shakava Leaves Gor Mahia for Nkana FC in Zambia

Published on July 29, 2019, Gor Mahia has confirmed the departure of club captain Harun Shakava to Zambian side Nkana FC.

Shakava, who has been in Zambia for the last one week, has sealed a move to Nkana FC through mutual consent.

He will link up with two other Kenyan players at the club, including former AFC Leopards captain Duncan Otieno.

Shakava joined Gor Mahia in January 2014 from Kakamega Homeboyz and went on to win five league titles among other accolades.

He was named Gor Mahia captain in 2018 after the departure of Musa Mohamed.

"Captain Harun Shakava has left the club on a mutual agreement, he joins Zambia's Nkana. Goodluck and all the best," Gor Mahia posted.
