On July 29, 2019, the comedy industry came together to celebrate its best at the Laugh Festival.
Comedian Churchill, real name Daniel Ndambuki, took to the stage to recognize his peers, including Njugush, real name Timothy Njuguna, for his outstanding work in the industry.
Njugush was visibly moved by the honour and took to the stage to express his gratitude to Churchill and the audience.

Churchill also launched the Taji Humour Wards, which saw Emmanuel Juma from NTV take home an award for his work on Bulls’s Eye.
