As of two weeks ago, Bomet Governor Joyce Laboso has been in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of a Nairobi hospital, according to her family.
Her return to the country two weeks ago, after a two-month stay in India and the United Kingdom seeking treatment for an undisclosed condition, had ended weeks of speculation among residents who had been inquiring about her medical progress at her home and office.
Doctors have since restricted visits to the ailing governor, limiting access to her in the ICU.
