July 29, 2019 - Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e owners in Kenya can now enjoy a range of new features and improvements with the latest software update.
The update, which carries software version T725XXU1ASG3, activates Bixby Voice on the device, allowing users to summon the virtual assistant with a simple 'Hi, Bixby' command.
A 'Power key for Bixby' toggle will appear in the notification shade when you long-press the power button, giving you the option to add a shortcut to Bixby Voice on your tablet's home screen.
Additionally, the update brings support for call and message continuity, allowing you to take with you all calls and messages to other devices that also support the feature as long as the same Samsung account is used to log in.
The latest update also improves camera stability, a feature that has been a mainstay in the changelog since the device's release.
While the update isn't the most recent security patch available from Samsung, it does bump the patch level from April to June 2019, which is a welcome improvement.
Given that Kenya has the LTE variant of the Galaxy Tab S5e, the ASG3 build also tags along support for call and message continuity.
Since it's airborne, the latest update may take several days before all Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e units in the country receive the download notification. You can wait or try forcing the update via Settings > Software update > Download and install.
