Kenya's Harambee Stars will face off against Tanzania's Taifa Stars in the first leg of the African Championship (CHAN) at the National Stadium in Dar Es Salaam on July 28, 2019.
Simba SC, the Tanzanian giants, have promised to reward Taifa Stars with a cash prize of KSh 450,000 if they emerge victorious against Kenya.
According to a tweet by Simba SC, the team will receive the token of appreciation if they silence Harambee Stars.
Simba CEO Crescentius Magori announced the reward in a tweet posted by the club on Saturday, July 27, 2019.
Earlier, Harambee Stars head coach Sebastien Migne named his final squad that will play Tanzania in a 2020 CHAN qualification match.
Coach Migne has axed some players from those he called to camp with Sofapaka striker John Avire and unattached Paul Were out of the squad.
Stars have been in camp since Friday, July 19, preparing for the match against the Tanzanians.
