On July 28, 2019, Huawei Mobile Kenya announced an end-of-month offer on its Y series smartphones, with discounts of up to 20% available on select devices.
The offer includes the Y9 2019, priced at Kshs 20,999, the Y7 Prime 2019 with 64GB memory at Kshs 16,999, the Y7 Prime 2019 with 32GB memory at Kshs 15,499, the Y6 Prime 2019 at Kshs 12,499, and the Y5 2019 at Kshs 10,499.
According to Steven Li, Country President of Huawei Mobile Kenya, the offer is a way to celebrate loyal customers and fans who have supported the brand since the beginning of the year. 'We would like to take this opportunity to celebrate our loyal customers and fans who have walked with us in this journey since the year began,' Li said. 'As part of the celebration, we are giving a discount on all the latest Y series devices available in the market across all our retail stores in the country.'
As part of the offer, customers who purchase the Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 will also receive a gift hamper.
